Shin guards are equipment worn on the front of an athlete's shin to protect it from injury. Place the shin guard on your shin, so that the protective area faces outward.

This style of shin guard does not have Velcro straps. Put on your socks as usual. Then, place the shin guard between your shin and the sock so that the guard is completely covered by the sock. Note that the guard can only provide full protection when worn with socks.
